Well, well, well....

We have really had a blast this winter. I guess that it shows because I have not posted hardly anything. But fear not, I have some pictures to share.

We have been to South Padre Island, Mexico, flea markets (a lot), dancing, bluegrass festivals, livestock shows, bird watching, and just driving around. I am sure that I have left something out, but for the life of me I can not recall. We have just had fun!! And not to mention the activities that have gone on in our park.

Part of this party left way too soon....We really did miss you, Dorthy and Ron. This is one of the restaurants that we usually end up at during our visits to Mexico.

Well as you can tell this is another bar/restaurant that we frequent when in Mexico. Don't look but Paul was having a really, good time.

And the price you pay for having a really good time; is ending up behind bars with a really big hat....

This is very unusual....We had to be in Mexico really early and guess what?....there was nobody on the street... Can you believe it? The vendors hadn't even set up yet.

We found this object on South Padre Island...still have not found out what it was, but it was interesting.

This is the only Federally owned hand drawn ferry. We didn't go across, but several of the people in our park have been. They normally ride bikes and go to the little (little), town on the other side.

These are the guys that do the pulling...I have been told that any of the passengers that want to help, may. I did not see any kind of help being offered.

Vern, Carol and us visited the Aloe King Farm....very interesting. Well worth the nine dollars; two for the tour, and seven for the lunch. Learned quite a bit about aloe.

This is one of the aloe fields. This winter really was hard on all the crops around here. But this field will still produce and come back strong.

Well we have already made plans to return next winter. Maybe all the running that we did this winter will have been enough and we won't be on the go so much next.....yeah, right, lol, not!

We are making our way home soon. With one stop in Houston for a few days, then onward to Georgia. The park is emptying out and most of the people have to gone home to snow and cold... we will be going home to cool and pollen. I guess I will take that.

Don't forget to check out the web album, there are a lot more pictures there.

As always, all is well with the girls and us.

Great pictures. So many things to do, so little time, have to come back next season and try to do them all! The early morning Mexico picture is almost spooky. We're going to Progrsso on Tuesday, one last time before we leave. We sure enjoyed your company and look forward to next winter season. Safe travels!
